Tip 160: Plan handouts while planning your talk
Your handouts will be a reflection of your presentation, so you should plan them at the same time as the talk itself. In order to make handouts that are complementary to your presentation, you need to make them when you are in the same mindset as you are when you are planning your presentation.
Do not rush the process of making handouts. Bear in mind that your audience will remember you and your presentation for years to come, on the basis of this handout. So it is worthwhile investing some time and thought into the planning of your handout.
