Tip 9: Liaise with other speakers
You should aim to give your audience a unique, personalised presentation. A useful way to do this is to make your presentation link in with those of other people who are presenting on the same day or at the same event. You can illustrate how your ideas or data relate with those of the other presenters and the value and uniqueness of everyone’s presentations will increase.
It helps to know as early as possible who else will be presenting, to give you sufficient time to plan how your presentation will be affected by those of the other people. Get in touch with the organiser of the event right now and find out with whom you are sharing a stage.
