Tip 235: Be present in the moment
Another good way to appear "in the moment" is to incorporate references to other things that your audience has experienced. Suppose you are at a conference and the lunch has been exceptionally good – reflect on that fact and share something in common with your unique audience that they could not have shared with you if they were not there that day.
Do not be occupied with thoughts of the future, of thoughts concerning what the results of your presentation might lead to. Do not ask about origins and ends leaving the moment forgotten. When you are with your audience, all that matters is that moment.
