Tip 53: Break up long presentations
Your audience can concentrate for only small periods of time – far smaller than the length of most talks. Therefore you must incorporate natural landmarks in your presentation where your audience can either take a pause completely or switch focus to another subject.
There are several ways of doing this, depending on whether you want a subtle change in focus to liven up audience interest, or whether you want a complete pause.
