Tip 187: Make landmarks for timing
During your rehearsals make a note at what time you reach certain points in your presentation. If you know where should be at a given time, you can use a watch during your presentation to keep track of how fast you are progressing through your presentation.
If you are ahead of schedule, you are going too fast and losing people. If you are behind schedule, leave out some material rather than going over time.
