Tip 100: Don't denigrate the competition
Never use your privileged role as a public speaker to denigrate your competition. Your audience is doing you a favour by allowing you to be in the public arena. Do not abuse their trust by using your position to gain an unfair advantage over your competition.
If anything, try to be courteous and polite towards your competition, and you will find that your audience will respect you more for doing so.
