Tip 57: Have a definite termination
The termination is literally the final contact you have with your audience. There are several ways to achieve a satisfactory and decisive termination.
Thank your audience, break eye contact and physically move away from the public arena.
Ask your audience to get up and go somewhere or do something.
Hand over to next speaker.
You should try to plan your termination in advance, bearing in mind the circumstances of the event and programme.
