Tip 14: Have something interesting to say
I'm sure that like me, you have sat through talks or presentations where you were simply not interested in what the speaker was trying to tell you. I have literally fallen asleep in so presentations, tutorials and seminars like that.
Having something interesting to say makes it much easier to give a great presentation. Making your audience pay attention to you and engage in your presentation will be so much easier if you have identified what interests the members of your audience and what makes them “tick”. If you are talking about something that each and every member of your audience is interested in, you really cannot go too far wrong.
It really does not matter what you think is interesting – your presentation must address the things that your audience finds interesting.
