Tip 161: Do not simply give a printout of your slides
Slides are a one-to-many way of communication, while handouts are one-to-one. The style you use in writing your slides is really not the most suitable style for writing your presentation.
You cannot go in depth on a slide. But with a written handout you can go as deep as you want to or need to.
Also, many slides include bullet lists. A list of bullet points when read two days later will be confusing for your reader. They will not remember the context of the bullet points after the event.
