Tip 250: Ignore interruptions
In the course of your presentation you may experience some interruptions.
People may enter or leave the room
People may laugh at you unexpectedly
People may start whispering to each other about something – you may think that they are talking about you
Don't be flustered or thrown off course. It is normal to have some interruptions during your presentation. Do your best despite the interruptions. The show must do on.
Try to regain your composure and your control on the situation. Speak a bit louder. Move around a bit. Become more animated. Talk a bit slower.
Above all else, don’t get flustered or frustrated. Be patient and give the room time to refocus on you and your presentation.
