Tip 106: Don't try to impress
Your motivation for your presentation should not be to impress your audience. You will not impress them by trying hard to impress them!
Instead, your genuine motivation should be to share, to help, to inspire, to teach, to inform, to guide, to persuade, or to motivate. If you succeed in doing these things, then almost certainly your audience will be both impressed and grateful at the same time.
See your presentation as an opportunity to serve your audience, not to impress or “sell” them.
